Interview Copilot is a desktop application that provides real-time, AI-generated assistance during interviews. This page summarizes how the app handles your data.

What we process

• Account: your email (and optionally your Google profile) for sign-in and subscription management.
• Call audio: system audio is streamed to a speech-to-text provider for real-time transcription. Audio recordings are not stored.
• Transcribed text & questions: sent to the AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate answers, and not retained on our servers longer than needed to process the request.
• Resume & job description: if you upload them, they are stored locally on your device and sent to the AI as session context.
• Usage data: number of interviews and tokens/seconds used, for plan limits.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not store recordings of your calls. Secrets and API keys live server-side and are never exposed to the client.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for complying with recording-consent laws and with the rules of the company or platform where you interview.
